We had our first "speed workout" of the summer, which typically is the Elmo run. The runners run around the perimeter of University Park and see how far they can get in 5 minutes, they plant a flag to record how far they make it. After a rest, they do the loop again and see if they can reach their flag a second time, or even go further. Everyone did amazing!! We already have a strong group of boys and girls and it will be exciting to see how much they improve over the summer.
