Week 9 is an important week with EDC on Saturday! It is also the last week of the season for the people not running at state. But with such a important race it was a big stress to make sure that we were ready for the big race! Getting lots of sleep and eating right was a big thing but also having a good week of practice but not pushing too hard to possibly burn yourself out or injuring yourself, but with such a great coach we found a happy medium of hard and easy! But when we got to the race on Saturday it was a little bit of a upsetting view. It was raining and 49 degrees, which is good for some people but isn’t tough for others. But it didn’t stop the boys from running their hearts out even in the cold weather! Having some of the middle schoolers running Varsity for a chance to make the top ten on the team to make it to state! But with a wet and sloppy course the boys and girls team showed up to run, and through the pain of the cold and running we had a very good day! Great Job to everyone that ran and it’s been a great time with the team, can’t wait to see what the young boys bring next season! North Dakota State Cross County here we come!!
