I'm excited about the new cross country alumni page. I have always enjoyed seeing what former members of our teams have done after they left high school. This is a great way for others to share in their success and also let current members of the team see what the future could hold for them. Alumni, please send me your information so I can include it. Soon I will add an alumni page for Track & Field, or maybe I will combine them since most of the cross country runners also ran Track.
Today we leave for the EDC indoor meet. What a difference a year makes, last year this meet was moved outside because of the nice weather. This year we are already wondering if next Friday's duel between us and Red River will be held at Cushman field. We will need some serious warming up for that to happen. I drove by the track last night and only a few meters of track is even visable. The runways for triple and long, and throwing fields are still under FEET of snow. |
