Distance Winter Training
Dec 8th - 13 * Probably a treadmill week! What to wear for outside running * Gloves/Hat *Layers!! Long sleeve shirt, short sleeve shirt and if possible wind proof jacket * Wind proof Pants, or tights and joggers * dry clothes to wear home *Always Run against the wind first, wind at your back home Monday - Long Run - outside if correct clothes Tuesday - Normal Wed - Treadmill - 4 x 5 min hard, 3 mins easy Thursday - Normal run Friday - 6 x 30 min sprints (1st) Treadmill, keep it at an angle for 1/2 the run. (up hill) Saturday - Normal run - Treadmill Sunday - Rest Make sure you are doing weights 3x a week!!!
