Following our meet on Monday we had a nice week of training, with no complaining as our long run was on Wednesday in the heat of the day. We had a good, challenging speed workout on Thursday with a mixture of 400's at first mile pace, and 800's at a pr pace.

On Saturday we had a very successful meet in West Fargo. It was a small meet with only a few teams. It was a fun meet to watch as a lot of the younger runners won their first awards. It was a really windy day, it was difficult to hit pr's, but we still got a few.

It was fun to see everyone improve and have fun racing. For the girls Karly Ackley led the girls with a 1st place finish, Alexis Roehl in 2nd, Rachel Torrey  4th, making the top 5 for the first time Sijle Kindseth 12th, Sophia Roehl 15th, in her first top twenty appearance, and Lauren Harrison came in 19th.

For the boys Richie Osborn led the team with a 3rd place finish, Aaron Springer 10th place, Kohlton Peterson in his first top twenty finish came in 11th, Emery got his first top twenty finish as well with a 16th place finish, and Eric Olsen with his first top 5 appearance just missed top twenty with a 21st place finish. It was fun to see the boys come together to come away with a 3rd place finish. It was also fun to watch the girls get the job done as well, with another 1st place finish.

The middle school boys showed that the Knights have great future with a 1, 2, 3 finish by Ryan Meyer, Adam Arnold, and Joe Williamson respectfully.  Also placing in the top 20 were Wyatt Mutzenberger 8th, Jake Hanson 10th, and Drew Raymond 18th.
